The Iroquois Owners Association exists, as a community,  to promote an exchange of ideas and information about the boats built by Sailcraft Ltd. Although called the Iroquois Owners Association, we cater for all boats built by Sailcraft, including Iroquois (MK1, MK2, MK2A, MK3), Comanche, Cherokee, Apache, Chieftain and Aztec.

Using the information provided by Dave Lewis, the original web site designer, we are trying to provide easier navigation around the website to locate and gather together relevant data for repair, modification, sailing methods (developed by previous owners and sailors), as well as some of the original subjects and to be added several forums and meet/cruising information.

This is taking some time as there is a mass of information in the 60 or so available newsletters, some of which are incomplete, and they have limited indexing. These news letters are now set out by decade and there is a developing index for each newsletter.

The information on this site has been developed and submitted by the owners and sailors of Sailcraft multihulls. Originally the newsletter was the method used to share this information. The boats are ageing and require regular maintenance and correction of any problems found to keep them in seaworthy order and reliable. Any information you have, that you think may assist current or new owners, please let us have it to publish. Use the forums, if available, email or snail mail but let the information keep flowing.

Additional information is being added including meets and activities,  boat availability and more

The site will continue to be developed, with your cooperation, assistance and input.

""Important News - Letter from Chair Jan 2010 Inside"

For owners and sailors who do not have access to the Internet there will be a IOA published newsletters, depending on input we aim to have two newsletters a year containing letters and articles written by the members. The IOA has been in existence since 1967, and there are over 60 newsletters in the archives. See Newsletters for the contents of the newsletters, which includes descriptions of projects carried out, advice on suppliers of equipment, descriptions of cruises undertaken and, in the earlier days, advice from Sailcraft.
